About Us
Radiant Readers’ Academy was established in 2056 B.S. It is located at easily accessible and peaceful vicinity of Lalitpur Metropolitan City, Ward no-2, Lalitpur, Nepal. It has successfully completed its voyage of two decades in the field of education. It is an English medium, co-educational and day boarding high school. It caters to the educational needs of boys and girls from grade Nursery to 10 and Montessori as well. It was started with certain definite objectives. Catering the value based quality education to the students is the main objective of this school. It focuses on discipline, punctuality and quality in work. It equally emphasizes the holistic development of each and every child enrolled in this institution.
It mainly focuses on the skills, knowledge and attitude of the students. It does not teach the students to be first in the class rather it teaches them to be the best in any field of their choice. The students are provided with a firm foundation through instructions imparted in an atmosphere conducive to learning. It has left no stone unturned in terms of giving equal emphasis to the academic, co-curricular activities and extra-curricular activities that include young learners with peaceful life skills, nationality, universal brotherhood, peace and integrity.
Admissions
Students are enrolled on merit basis after they appear written test and face interviews.Application forms can be received only for class Nursery to VIII. Applicants must pass the entrance test to get admission in any class. If the admission is granted, candidates must produce the following documents to get the admission.

The official admission process begins from 1st Chaitra every year but as the seats are limited, you will be able to reserve seats prior to the date once you are notified of your child’s selection.
Yes, our school offers varied scholarships to students on a need-cum-merit basis.
Scholarships are provided on the basis of merit as well as criteria set by NEB. Student candidates are required to appear in scholarship exams held by the school for which the school admission desk provides you with the dates and time of exam. Selection is transparent and fair and thus, it is mandatory to pass out the scholarship exams.
Forms can be collected from the school office or can be downloaded from our school website ……………. Completed forms can then either be handed in person in the school or email in …………………..
As part of the application approval process, all children have to participate in an age-appropriate entry assessment for basic math, languages (English and Nepali) and social interaction. This is needed to ensure a smooth and fully supported transition to the school and is by no means a “pass/fail” test. Parent interviews will also take place to ensure that their outlook towards education is in alignment with the school’s values and learning goals.
No. The school believes that every child should have a right to apply to KWS, and does not seek any form of monetary reimbursement for the process.

The school has created a safe and secure environment for the students. Keeping this in mind, school gate will be tight for everyone who comes at odd hour. They will be given entry only after the detail inquiry.The students who come late will not get entry. The security at the gate keeps the record of the visitors. The security does not let the students go out of the school without the approval of the concerned authority.
The school has a spacious and well equipped science laboratory. The lab, with modern amenities and quality specimens and models, opens up a new world to explore the dynamism of learning and enable the students, solves the myriad mystery of science. It gives the students extensive practical experience to supplement the theoretical lessons learnt in the classrooms. It is regarded as the hubs of activities, developing scientific temperament and satisfying students’ curiosity.
The school has well-equipped computer labs which help to cater globally standard computer education in the modern times. The school has two computer labs: one for primary level and another for secondary level of students. The school has more than 60 computers in the labs. All the computers are connected with internet which assist the students to access the newest technology.
The school has maintained neat and clean cafeteria. Professional and well trained staff look after the cafeteria who cook and maintain hygienic food items. They serve the students and other staff with their smiling personality. Any interested student can entertain the canteen facility. It is well equipped with varieties of food items. The menu of food is different for all the six days of the week.
The school has a well-equipped library with a large stock of books including encyclopedias, fiction and non-fiction books, other reference books etc. The library also consists of literature, lifestyle, religion, information and entertainment books. It allows the students for reading different varieties of books, for doing research and relaxation. It also subscribes to a number of dailies, magazines and journals to keep students abreast of the global happenings. It is under the process of changing into an e-library through which anyone can read the books available here sitting at the any corner of the world.
