HISTORY
Little Angels’ School is renowned as pioneers and leaders in the field of education committed to educate and transform by inspiring. Since it started in the year 1981 as a small school in a rented house for 65 day scholars it has inspired thousands of young minds, nurturing talents and helping students realize their true potential. Today, it is renowned for its academic excellence and as the largest private school, spread amidst 350 ropanis of land in a serene ambience with matchless facilities, well trained experienced faculty who foster and help achieve excellence. It continues to expand and grow touching the lives of young minds, inspiring, encouraging personal and academic growth through collaborative and student centered methods in a dynamic environment.
A growing appreciation and demand for quality education and the remarkable personal touch that it offered saw a rapid expansion. The year 1990, saw the first batch of SLC students who excelled in academics; each passing year brought accolades, several rewarding and precious moments. During the 1990s, we undertook the ambitious program to build one of the largest and sophisticated school premises with modern amenities to impart premium education. The year 1995, saw the start of the construction in 350 ropanies of land at Hattiban – the serene and idyllic lush green location matched with the desire to provide an ideal environment for a truly fulfilling learning experience. The features that keep us at par institutions at a global level are infrastructure, an array of innovations in the field of education, child-centered mode of education, modern teaching aids like over head projectors/ AV-gadgets, multi -media systems, hi-tech computer labs, student support services and the assimilation of extra-curricular activities as an integral part of daily activities. Admissions
Admission opens in the month of Chaitra from Kindergarten to Class VI. Interested students need to complete Admission Procedures in order to get admission. Students are selected based on their written examination followed by parents/guardians’ interview.

Admission is given on the basis of an Entrance Examination which is mandatory, comprehensive, and has to be cleared on the basis of marks secured in the exam. A personal interview closely conducted by the School Management is compulsory for all students accompanied by their parents.

As part of the application approval process, all children have to participate in an age-appropriate entry assessment for basic math, languages (English and Nepali) and social interaction. This is needed to ensure a smooth and fully supported transition to the school and is by no means a “pass/fail” test. Parent interviews will also take place to ensure that their outlook towards education is in alignment with the school’s values and learning goals.

The official admission process begins from 1st Chaitra every year but as the seats are limited, you will be able to reserve seats prior to the date once you are notified of your child’s selection.
Yes, our school offers varied scholarships to students on a need-cum-merit basis.
Scholarships are provided on the basis of merit as well as criteria set by NEB. Student candidates are required to appear in scholarship exams held by the school for which the school admission desk provides you with the dates and time of exam. Selection is transparent and fair and thus, it is mandatory to pass out the scholarship exams.

Counseling is an integral component of the school’s mission focusing on social, emotional development and academic success. The school counselor advocates for every child’s academic and personal/social success and continuous improvement. Little Angels’ School has a Counseling Desk where all the students are helped in the areas of academic achievement, behavioral improvement and social growth. Individual and group counseling help students resolve personal or interpersonal problems.

ECA
Activities beyond the curriculum form an integral part of the curricular and helps students reach their highest potential. There are sports and performance art clubs. ‘The Bud’ offers a platform for budding writers while Student Quality Circle (SQC), Scouts and Guides focus on leadership and personality development. Indoor sports activities, martial arts demonstrations, quizzes, spelling and debate competitions, exhibitions, welcome& farewell parties, parents’ day, project works, fund raising, awareness campaigns, creative writing competitions are hosted frequently.
Students at LAS are given opportunity to participate in a wide range of sports and games in order to enhance social ethos, enjoyment, trust and respect. In addition, it gives the necessary break from the everyday monotonous life. The sports that are available at present are;

Hygienic and Nutritious Meal
We provide hygienic and nutritious meal to the students four times in a day in which main meal is given two times and other two are breakfast and snacks. Main meal includes Nepali Thali with seasonal vegetables whereas fresh confectioneries baked in our in house bakery are served during breakfast and snacks. Meat is served twice a week meat while paneer and curd is served for the vegetarians. In addition, eggs and seasonal fruits are served every week. Grand dinner is offered on special occasions and traditional style food is served during festivals. The school ensures that the food and beverages are wholesome, nutritious and healthy.
Lodging
We provide standard lodging facilities in accordance with age groups and gender to the students who require hostel facilities. The dormitories are neat, tidy and well ventilated. Every hostel is accompanied by a Hostel Incharge and well trained housekeeping staff to ensure comfort and well being and also a high level of academic performance in all students.Scenic surroundings, wide ranging facilities and a vibrant community life makes residential life at LAS a home away from home.
School Infirmary
The school has an infirmary and round the clock health professionals in order to provide 24 hour first aid health service to the students and employees. There is an in-house doctor for timely health check ups to ensure quality health care.
Regular Coaching Classes
Regular coaching classes are conducted for the boarders with the respective subject teachers. Well supervised and monitored coaching classes ensure academic excellence. Apart from the coaching classes, students are expected to spend extra hours studying ,doing their assignments and conducting research projects . The coaching classes follows a strict regimen of rules and rigorous schedules.
