About Us
Elixir Academy (EA) is an English medium co-educational school conceived and established in 2009 A.D. by a team of experienced educational leaders with a motive to provide quality education to meet the aspirations of present generations and make them able to tackle the challenges of the 21st century.
The team of EA possesses a wide range of educational experiences and a clear vision among other potentialities.
At EA, the best possible efforts have been made to bring about novel changes in education and make conscious people feel and realize the changes. Admission is given on the basis of an Entrance Examination which is mandatory, comprehensive, and has to be cleared on the basis of marks secured in the exam. A personal interview closely conducted by the School Management is compulsory for all students accompanied by their parents.

As part of the application approval process, all children have to participate in an age-appropriate entry assessment for basic math, languages (English and Nepali) and social interaction. This is needed to ensure a smooth and fully supported transition to the school and is by no means a “pass/fail” test. Parent interviews will also take place to ensure that their outlook towards education is in alignment with the school’s values and learning goals.
No. The school believes that every child should have a right to apply to KWS, and does not seek any form of monetary reimbursement for the process.

The official admission process begins from 1st Chaitra every year but as the seats are limited, you will be able to reserve seats prior to the date once you are notified of your child’s selection.
Yes, our school offers varied scholarships to students on a need-cum-merit basis.
Scholarships are provided on the basis of merit as well as criteria set by NEB. Student candidates are required to appear in scholarship exams held by the school for which the school admission desk provides you with the dates and time of exam. Selection is transparent and fair and thus, it is mandatory to pass out the scholarship exams.
Facilities
Elixir Academy has different academic blocks to conduct the academic programs for Kindergarten, Elementary and Secondary level.
We have separate academic blocks and playgrounds set for Kindergarten and senior students, each of which is furnished with required play materials for their motor development, games and sports. The physical environment is designed and developed with gardens and lawns to provide a homely atmosphere so that they do not feel they are away from home and their family when they are in school.
The classrooms at EA are bright, spacious, well – ventilated and are conducive to learning. Our classrooms are well-furnished to suit the objectives of the teaching-learning process. All the classes are equipped with CCTVs to observe and monitor every activity of the students and faculties.
Elixir Academy has well- spacious and adequately equipped science and computer laboratory. To cope with the present state of the fast-growing modern technological world, laboratories are upgraded and equipped with the state - of - the art technologies which provide sufficient practical knowledge of science and computer.
Elixir Academy has a well- spacious library well stocked with books. It has a wide range of books – curricular, fiction and general knowledge, CD’s, cassette – audio and visual materials. The library serves daily and important newspapers, journals, periodicals, etc. New publications are continuously being added to enrich the knowledge of the students.
Elixir canteen provides hygienic meals and snacks at a subsidized rate. The canteen is in a very clean and healthy environment. It is spacious and can accommodate a huge number of students and teachers at a time.
Elixir Academy has a separate hostel facility for both boys and girls hostels located within the premises of the school. Experienced and qualified teachers provide tutorial classes with full parental care.
Elixir Academy provides both short and long-distance transportation facility to the parents as per their need with reasonable fare and parental care.
The School provides day-boarding facilities for the students which include breakfast, lunch, tiffin and extra tutorial classes at affordable additional cost. We also run separate morning and evening classes for needy students with lunch/tiffin at affordable extra cost.
As an extrinsic motivation to the deviated or needy students, various types of scholarships, partial and full scholarships are available for the students. This is decided as per the suggestion of the committee without any bias.
The school firmly believes that no learning takes place unless the curricular activities are coupled with co-curricular activities. So, to achieve the objectives of teaching and learning, we have designed our curriculum including the co-curricular activities according to the need and interest of the students and also by considering both government and international curricula to make the students fit in and out of the institution as a skilled human resource of the world.
Educational tours and other short and long tours guided by the concerned subject teachers as an integral part of our curriculum are in practice. This facility has helped to broaden students’ theoretical and practical knowledge and skills.
Elixir Academy offers the best sporting opportunities and facilities to all students. We focus on the mental, emotional and physical development of the students. Students can participate in various sports like table tennis, badminton, basketball, volleyball, football and other indoor and outdoor games.
The school annually organizes sports meet to promote healthy competition, a sense of responsibility, discipline and friendliness among the students. The school also believes that such type of event will provide an opportunity for the students to learn sportsmanship and a healthy competitive attitude as well as a fraternal relationship with other schools’ teams.
Elixir academy focuses and believes in the holistic development of every student. We nurture the students with our core values so that they can develop themselves with value-based ethics, a character formed as per the aspirations and need of the parents and the society. to meet these expectations of our parents/guardians, we conduct regular scout classes to develop themselves as a complete human being.
We always encourage our parents to participate in every activity of their ward/s. We appreciate our parents for getting involved in the teaching-learning process of their ward/s and participation in every function of the school like, parent-teacher meeting, result day, parents’ day, sports meet, etc.
